Wilson Phillips performed last Friday at a casino in Shawnee...several of us from book club decided to make a girls' night out of it, and we had a blast! The best part, though, was that Tanna's husband, Ryan, surprised us with a limo!! How cool is that?!

We stopped in MWC for dinner at Monterey Jack's mexican restaurant. I had never been before, but had heard of it...it was YUMMY! It's my new fave, and I think it is even better than Ted's.
Then we limo'd it on to Shawnee to the casino. WP performed in a large conference room...we were about 7 rows back (thanks, Kristin!). They were great!! I was never really a super-fan, but most of the lyrics did come back to me...especially my fave, "Release Me." They did a lot of covers...some Mamas and Papas and Beach Boys' tunes in honor of their parents. It was a great night!
